This week we look at GDP; revisions and releases. First up is a look at the revision to the US GDP results for Q4 2009, then there’s the first revision to the UK GDP stats. Then we look to some of the fresh data coming from some emerging markets; we’ve got South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand, all showing a reasonably strong bounce back from the recession.

U.S. Stocks Trim Gains For February As Consumer Confidence Drops To Lowest Level In 10 Months

DailyMarkets.com (New York) - U.S. stocks fell for the first time in three weeks as investors turned their attention to weak U.S. economic data. The S&P 500 index declined 0.4% to 1,104.49, trimming its February gain to 2.9%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.7% to 10,325.26.
