Eastern European central bank seen buying cable

Posted:

An Eastern European central bank has been seen buying cable this morning.  I'd hazard a guess a little reserve diversification after buying dollars against home currency.  We sit presently at 1.5470.

Well…….(the sequel)

Cable sits at 1.5485.   Just getting confirmation stops gathered just above 1.5500 and again on break of 1.5525.

Well………

Posted:

I think it's fair to say there were decent sell orders lined up at 1.5490/00 in cable as we suspected.  Got to 1.5498, back presently at 1.5482.  US bank in London notable seller around the highs.
