Shocking NBC Olympic TV Everywhere Stream Numbers!

NBC just announced shocking early Olympic TV Everywhere numbers that are so incredibly huge, NIA now believes new all time highs above $18 are possible for Synacor (SYNC) after the company reports their total number of pay-TV subscribers authenticated for the London Olympic Games! It is now very clear to NIA that SYNC is in a position to well outperform guidance and analyst forecasts for the rest of 2012!

Remember, no additional revenues from the Olympics have been included in SYNC's extremely conservative 3Q guidance. The market is forward looking so NIA expects SYNC to start making a major upward move in the days ahead as the word spreads about the information below!

The numbers just reported by NBC for TV Everywhere streams have surpassed their highest expectations as well as everybody's highest expectations in the mainstream media and on Wall Street! NIA is ecstatic about the numbers just released from NBC! NIA never thought these huge early numbers were even possible!

SYNC is authenticating for nearly 40 of the 100 plus pay-TV companies providing access to NBC's Olympic TV Everywhere content. These pay-TV companies using SYNC's TV Everywhere technology have about 25 million total subscribers with Olympic TV Everywhere access rights. All together, approximately 100 million Americans have access rights and SYNC's technology is being used to verify the pay-TV subscriptions of about 1 out of every 4 people who authenticate!

Prior to this year's Olympics, the media widely reported that because TV Everywhere technology is brand new in the U.S., most Americans won't know how to authenticate and therefore NBC's online streams will be way down from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing when streams were available without TV Everywhere authentication.

NBC reported that on Saturday, there were 7 million live streams and 6.2 million archived streams for 13.2 million streams total! For comparison, on the first Saturday of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, there were only 1.6 million live streams and 3.6 million archived streams for 5.2 million streams total. NBC's live streams this past Saturday were up 338% from 4 years ago, while their archived streams were up 72%, which equals an overall increase of 154% in streams for this year's opening Saturday TV Everywhere coverage!

NBC reported that on Sunday, there were 5.7 million live streams and 5.3 million archived streams for 11 million streams total! For comparison, on the first Sunday of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, there were only 1.3 million live streams and 2.1 million archived streams for 3.4 million streams total. NBC's live streams this past Sunday were up 338% from 4 years ago, while their archived streams were up 152%, which equals an overall increase of 224% in streams for this year's opening Sunday TV Everywhere coverage!

All together this past weekend on Saturday and Sunday combined, NBC reported 12.7 million live streams and 11.5 million archived streams for 24.2 million streams total! For comparison, on the first weekend of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, there were only 2.9 million live streams and 5.7 million archived streams for 8.6 million streams total. NBC's live streams this past weekend were up 338% from 4 years ago, while their archived streams were up 102%, which equals an overall increase of 181% in streams for this year's opening weekend TV Everywhere coverage!
