
Synacor (SYNC)'s shorts are already rushing to cover. We just found out that the latest NASDAQ short data was just released and SYNC's short interest fell to 1,796,464 in mid-January from 2,212,452 at year-end 2012. After bottoming in November at $4.44 and bouncing to $6.51 in early-December, SYNC dipped two more times and found huge support at higher lows of $4.81 and $5. SYNC just brokeout past its early-January high of $5.92 and exploded through $6 per share on Friday and looks ready for a major rally past its December high of $6.51 in the days ahead. SYNC's six month chart below looks incredible.
